VOLUTE DUO™ proved successful again in non-standard conditions.

Contexte :

An Austrian pet food company plans to expand their production, so they are looking for an excess wastewater treatment solution. AMCON‘s clogless twin-screws dewatering press VOLUTE DUO™ (model RVP-241) was tested together with a trial flotation unit supplied by another company. The aim was to verify efficiency and mutual compatibility of both units.

Installation details

Despite the technical obstacles caused by the flotation unit, the performance of VOLUTE DUO™ and collected results were promising. All samples exceeded 22 % of dry solids content in the dewatered sludge, and the suspended solids capture rate reached over 97 %. Knowing that the output characteristics of the dewatering press VOLUTE DUO™ would be in all likelihood better with a fully functioning DAF unit, the customer was very satisfied with the excellent results.
